Publisher's Summary

A house divided cannot stand.

There are many who have tried unsuccessfully to defeat the USA through direct action in the past, but technology has rewritten those old rules.

A new enemy has arisen, more cunning and crafty than before. A cabal of wealthy puppet masters has created a plan to divide America from within.

Cloaked in secrecy and blind loyalty to their leader, these masters of manipulation will embark upon a journey that will change the future of humanity.

As the next US presidential election begins, will it be free and fair, or will it be rigged? Maybe it doesn’t even matter who wins, as long as the country fractures apart.

If you like political intrigue coupled with hair-raising action, geopolitical chess, and cutting-edge technology, you’ll love Rosone and Watson’s opening installment of the Second American Civil War.

Will our heroes be able to uncover the plot before it is too late? Have too many dominoes fallen to stop this devious trap? Grab your copy of Rigged and find out today!

A little unsettling

I enjoyed this book, I felt it told a compelling story that seemed a plausible sequence of events for how things could unravel in a hurry. It definitely caused me to reflect on how events like these might be interpreted or disseminated through the media.

BJ Harrison's performance is great, at first I thought his intonation was almost sing-songy that I thought might not have been appropriate for this type of story, but it seemed to settle in by the end, and I've noticed a few minutes into the sequel that it has certainly improved.

Decent Story

Note to all the readers afflicted with TDS: this is NOT a Trump fanboy series as far as I could tell. Since I'm not a Trump cultist I would hope that I could tell the difference.

For example, there is a Democratic female Speaker of the House(similar to our current Speaker) who is dealt with in a very sympathetic and, dare I say, heroic manner. If the authors were rabid alt righters I'm sure they would have taken the opportunity to give the Speaker fangs and a forked tail. They did not.

Next, the storyline of foreign election interference is not far fetched considering what has already gone on. The writing is a bit prosaic at times but very digestible.

Finally, the narrator doesn't cut it despite an obviously earnest effort. He has the kind of voice the reminds me of a Saturday morning commercial announcer asking kids to buy their favorite flavored cereal. Every time the narrator reads "Boom" I have a flashback to the 1960's Batman TV show where a cartoonish 'KAPOW' would flash across the screen whenever the caped crusader landed a right hook on the bad guys.

DESPITE the narrator I still rate this at four stars because I like the story.

A Real Thriler

This book is fiction but it lmost parallels current events. our last Presidential election was rigged. Not directly by China or Russia but by a political party that will do whatever it takes to gain and hold on to power. Unfortunately the President who lost the election is still being tormented by legacy media, Hollywood and the political party who ensured cheat by mail and poorly maintained voting records could get their man elected. By placing a weak president in office China and Russia are daring us to protect our interests.

This is a very fine book. Once you start, you won't want to put it down.

Spectacular. Edge of the seat action, and timely

Let's just say if your an American you will see the similarities between todays politics and craziness that goes on everyday. Additionally, it is very apparent the author has first hand military experience. I loved every paragraph! couldn't put it down.

Well performed but highly predictable.

I really enjoyed the Battlefield series as the political side of things was minimal when compared to the overall military thinking and action. The political side of Rigged could have been ghost written by the RNC and our current incumbent’s campaign committee. The fictional conservative president character is what we all hoped for, but never got, but hey.....it’s fiction after all. As is typical in this genre, all liberals are power hungry and amoral at best. All Europeans are shown as anti-American, elitist and supportive of a UN led World Government. I have to wonder if this is just thinly vailed propaganda. I recommend the Battlefield series and will sample the WWIII series in hopes of better entertainment.

Difficult to Believe

Since this series uses characters who are obviously current day political figures (Trump and Biden), it's difficult not to make it political. The challenge is that every leader is behaving so atrociously, it's difficult to believe them, let alone support any of them.

Trump (leader of the good guys) has unilaterally declared marshal law upon losing an election, in gross violation of the constitution, sidelined the whole of congress, and started arresting political opposition if they object. Yet somewhat he increases his support from most of the American people.

Meanwhile Biden has unwittingly teamed up with the Chinese and ignored all the evidence that the election was severely influenced by their actions.

Not to be outdone, most of the USA's traditional NATO allies, including Canada and Mexico, have also decided to jump in with the Chinese and Russians to oppose Trump. It's Trump vs the rest of the world - and the rest of the world are the bad guys.

If the political scenario is unbelievable, the reader also has to wade through battle scenes that rely on the gross incompetence of the non-americans to ensure US Victory against the odds.

I got through two of the books in the series, but do not want to waste time and money on any more.

Great story

I really enjoyed this audio book. the plot is right out of 2020 headlines, a real story of a rigged and stolen election. Just lime in this story, the real evidence has been smeared as false and all attempts to get it out are being attacked and shut down by the neo-Marxist Democrats and their globalist big business cronies, and international banking mogles.

I look forward to listening to the next book in this series, as well as other titles by these authors.

Salute, and we'll done.

Election Nightmare Coming True???

Well, I started this book the week of the 2020 election to try and get my mind off of the current events. Not sure it was a great idea, as I could barely distinguish fact from fiction! My husband would walk into the room and ask if it was the news! Hard to believe that this book was written a year and a half BEFORE the actual election! Good story, that starts to feel more realistic every day. I didn’t always keep up with all the characters names as I was doing other things or going to bed, but plan on getting the rest of the books!

Get a different reader

Great story but not sure I’ll buy the whole series. I see they have the same reader for all of them and he’s the issue. Great book, great topic, sounds like a kindergarten teacher explaining how neat water colors are to his class of 5 year olds. Could have been so much better with a grown up reader who understands the seriousness of such a book.

A much needed wake up call

My own reality and sense of security and livelihood has never been so thoroughly rocked by a fiction piece, realistic or not, then it has upon finishing this first book. Truly a thing to behold and listen to. A must read/listen!

Early/partial review.

If you are picky about the narrators. Then you should buy the book and read it. I’m only a few chapters into this book and I think I’ll have to read it. Im not sure I can listen to this guy much longer. Something about his style is very off putting. Feels like he should be reading cheap romance novels instead of something like this. Will post full review later
