Publisher's Summary

It was lyrics at first sight when I saw Violet Rhodes across that crowded party. She was lights and darks, swirled together. Music in motion. And all of it while looking like a hitwoman at an Elvis convention.

I had nothing to offer the intriguing girl but a one-night stand. I figured I’d revel in my last night of anonymity before my first tour and shoot her a quick “we’ll always have LA!” good-bye the next morning. But nothing went according to plan.

In one night, Violet crawled under my skin and into my bloodstream. She tattooed her name across my chest and between my legs. She became my muse. And then she was gone. Now, months later, here she is again. And in a twist I never saw coming, it turns out Violet is ultra-violet radiation. Beautiful, ethereal light bringing with her the promise of damage and destruction. My brain tells me to walk away from this girl, but my heart can’t stop feeling like she might be one of a kind...the sort of girl who comes along once in a violet moon.

Rockstar is a stand-alone romance, the love story of Dax Morgan and the electrifying woman who rocked his world during his journey to worldwide rock superstardom.

Love Dax!!!

Finally the last Morgan brother gets his story! Dax the rockstar gets to fulfill his dream, as we've seen in the other books. We know he's funny, a momma's boy, loves his family and his bandmates. But there is more to Dax! He is deep, an introvert/extravert and when he loves, he is passionate, loyal and fierce. I loved this story. It was not as long as the others, but still I am very attached to this family and will miss them all!!! I loved them the most!!!!

Morgan’s are top notch

Every one of the books in this series is a delight. Dax and all the people he loves the most absorb another amazing newcomer Int their family. Reed Rivers (Bad Liar) also has some good character revealed in this story.

High Voltage Flow...

Two hearts beating together... Two souls made for each other... This is Dax and Violet's story... One word, mind blowing. This is how I truly feel about the story of Dax and Violet. Dax did not know what hit him when he locked eyes with a stunning beauty named Violet. Dax thought he would have an amazing night of carnal pleasure and they would go theirseparate ways. Not happening. They immediately bonded and connected on a level not either of them were prepared for. Even after months of being apart, she was still infused into his bloodstream. Dax knew he could never let her go, even with consequences. And there were consequences. Their journey together was passionate, heart breaking and moving. This couple opened up my chest, gripped my heart and never let go. This was a powerful soul-stirring love story and one I will not soon forget.

Rocked by the Rockstar!

As always, Lauren hits it out of the part with this tender, funny, heart-warming, and pretty darn real portrayal of a family, and love, and finding your way. I can't say enough how much I love all of the books in this series! Every woman should get to marry a Morgan brother, and every guys should get to hang with them. Highly recommended! Lauren & John's narration is fantastic as always as well.

Get ready to ROCK your world!!

From the moment I started this book I could not put it down. Being on this magical journey with Dax the amazing HAF Rockstar and Violet the brilliantly talented and beautiful artist was an experience like no other. The overwhelming feeling of wanting to jump right into the pages of this book to either give everyone a big hug or a few punches was like no other. Lauren has once again taken me on a roller coaster ride with a few twists and turns that I did not see coming. The narration was absolutely perfect!! They really captured the personalities of each character and made me fall in love with each and every one of them. Although this book is part of a series, it is totally a standalone with an HEA as are all the books in this series. This is a must read/listen and I absolutely recommend this book.

And this is why I love the Morgans the most!

Dax is a true Morgan, meaning entirely lovable. An honestly good guy who’s still super sexy and exciting. Proving that Romance heroes don’t have to be bad boys to be interesting! Violet is the kind of likable, understated Romance heroine who can let a guy like Dax shine, while still having her own story, her own successes, and her own personality. She isn’t just a background for Dax. Their story is one of forbidden love. A one-night-stand turning into tons of feelings. The narration by John Lane and Lauren Rowe was beautiful as ever. And hearing John Lane make a goat sound totally made my day LOL To be honest, as much as I love listening to John Lane, I would have preferred a different voice for Dax. I imagined something a bit more raspy and less growly or deep. More of an indie rock singer’s voice, less of a Death Metal singer’s voice, haha. But that really doesn’t take any enjoyment away from listening to this audiobook. Lauren Rowe created an entire Rockstar universe, including a band website, a trailer that made my Grunge kid heart beat faster (but, you know, in a cool way, of course), and actual real music videos for the original 22 Goats songs from the book. It’s not only a very immersive experience, it’s also damn impressive. Go Lauren! 😀

Sweet book

The story dragged for me because I didn’t read the other Morgan brother’s books, and they talk a lot about them too. It was still a good book.

I want to be a Morgan

Oh my gosh I could not love this family enough! The Morgan brothers (and sister) are funny, romantic, strong, and fiercely loyal. I’m sad this is the last book in the series. I want more Morgan’s!

Rockstar Baby

So this book went through a lot of ups and downs. The beginning-Part 1 was good for the most part but Dax went through a lot of soul searching and we got to see/hear ALLLLL of his “woe is me” “poor me” moments and it got to be a bit much. The last two hours of the book after the couple find many their way to each other and they work through things is much better. While I didn’t feel I had to force myself to finish this book and I liked it better than Zander’s book it’s not going down as my fave Morgan Brother book. John Lane and Lauren Rowe did a great job bringing this book to life and my only real complaint is when Lauren tries to voice Papa Morgan. Her voice is so sweet and is a higher register that part failed her. I would still recommend this book to everyone as it rounds out the end of this series of books nicely.

Great series!

I began this series from the beginning with The Club and felt a little iffy about it. I’m so glad I stuck with it. Everything got better and better. I love the song references and oh the sex education (wink wink) about the variations on the female orgasms. Every man should listen to these books LOL! The Morgan family and all their extras were fantastic! All the feels. I still have Liars and Smitten to go but I’m a Lauren Rowe fan for sure. I must thank Audible Escape for turning me on to new authors like Rowe.
