Can't finish it

I can't even bring myself to listen to this story because the narrator is so awful to listen to; she keeps pausing after every few words and it's super annoying.

The Female Narrator Is Painful To Listen To

I’m not sure how they let this get past chapter one without swapping out the female narrator. I would recommend listening to a sample before buying. I won’t listen to the second book because for some reason they used her again. The way she ends each sentence makes me cringe. It’s sad they didn’t speak to her about it because it ruins the book. I thought the story was interesting but not enough to buy book two.

it was ok but

I liked the story but found the female narrator hard to listen to. She kind of sounded like Captain Kirk.

female narrator is awful

Couldn't get through it because of the female narrator. She's incredibly annoying - repetitive speech pattern, odd emphasis on certain words, and irritating pauses that make no sense.

Good story terrible narrator

I love the concept of the story. The most annoying female narrator ever though.... she read with so much emphasis on the last word of every sentence. Totally reminds me of how William Shatner talked in Star Trek. Lol

Overall, I liked the story so much that I’ll continue to the next book in the series.

Not a fan of voice actor story is okay

I don’t know maybe his series is just to juvenile for me, the magic & shifter part is interesting enough but the voice acting is horrible!
I feel horrible for a child stuck with an abusive parent for the past 7 years, glad she now seems to be getting some help but it took way to long! They should of helped her right away!

Horrible MFC narrator!

Like others I almost stopped listening, but I had it on in the background while working on a project. Went to start the 2nd book but stopped when I saw it was the same narrator. Won’t be listening to the rest of this trilogy.
