Not my favorite, but always a good listen

Some Spenser stories are easier to stomach than others. This one isn't one of my favorites, but you shouldn't always pick and choose which dark corners to look into. I enjoy Parker's writing and love the narrator. Not as much sarcasm and sass as I usually enjoy from this series.
