Story
Roshar is a world of stone and storms. Uncanny tempests of incredible power sweep across the rocky terrain so frequently that they have shaped ecology and civilization alike. Animals hide in shells, trees pull in branches, and grass retracts into the soilless ground. Cities are built only where the topography offers shelter. It has been centuries since the fall of the 10 consecrated orders known as the Knights Radiant, but their Shardblades and Shardplate remain: mystical swords and suits of armor.

Story
For a thousand years the ash fell and no flowers bloomed. For a thousand years the Skaa slaved in misery and lived in fear. For a thousand years the Lord Ruler, the "Sliver of Infinity," reigned with absolute power and ultimate terror, divinely invincible. Then, when hope was so long lost that not even its memory remained, a terribly scarred, heart-broken half-Skaa rediscovered it in the depths of the Lord Ruler's most hellish prison.

Warbreaker is the story of two sisters who happen to be princesses, the God King one of them has to marry, the lesser god who doesn't like his job, and the immortal who's still trying to undo the mistakes he made hundreds of years ago. Their world is one in which those who die in glory return as gods to live confined to a pantheon in Hallandren's capital city and where a power known as BioChromatic magic is based on an essence known as breath that can be collected only one unit at a time.

It has been 20 years since the end of the war. The dictatorial Augurs, once thought of almost as gods, were overthrown and wiped out during the conflict, their much-feared powers mysteriously failing them. Those who had ruled under them, men and women with a lesser ability known as the Gift, avoided the Augurs' fate only by submitting themselves to the rebellion's Four Tenets.

Amazing stories
This is a great book. It is full of great stories but to get the most out of it you should read most if not all of Sanderson's previous work. Each story is unique and shows the real skill of Sanderson. #Audible1

Read it if you are familiar with his work.
Very good anthology of stories if you haven't read them all already. Mistborn secret history contains spoilers for the first mistborn trilogy and edgedancer contains spoilers for world wide events occurring at the end of words of radience, but i feel theres no spoilers that you dont see coming a mile away while reading words of radience. 6 of dusk and emperors soul were stand alone stories and favorites of mine aswell

5 ★s!
Great sequel to The Way of Kings, seems like the story is really only just getting started but another great addition to the series.
Mostly wrote this review though so I could just WARN PPL NOT TO BUY THE SEPERATE EDGEDANCER book, since it's the next book in the series and is included in the Arcanum Unbounded collection! not to mention it's only a novella but the same 1 credit price as anything on Audible. I made that mistake of wasting 1 of my credits on the seperate Edgedancer recording so hopefully other don't as well. I think they should honestly remove the seperate 1 since it's narrated by the same VAs anyways so it's a bit scummy to keep it for when ppl search only for them to find out it's part of a collection they'll probably need/want anyways.
