Worth pushing through the first book

Captivating Series, Exceptional Voice Performances
The story is very compelling, I can’t stop listening! If you enjoy fantasy with magic, mythical creatures and fighting of all sorts, but with the complexity of corruption, politics and relationships, this series is for you. There are many characters and the voice performers have emotion and clarity that make the characters distinctive. You’ll never be confused about the identity of the characters. 5 Stars!

takes a bit, but it gets there. Good for transit.
Good break up of both voice actors voices. Not jarring. Good for listen to on the train/subway. Story gets a liiittle long at points but its truly intriguing.

Interesting listen
This was a great second book in the series, I had to listen to it almost twice. Im glad I could go back and listen to the previous chapters again when I found that I was wondering what happened. Poor Tea, such a struggle for this young girl who we forget that is only 17.
I love the style of narration the easy movement between past and present based on who is reading helps the listener to follow along.
I moved on to the final book, I cant wait to see how it ends.
