Publisher's Summary

In Hustle Believe Receive, Sarah Centrella, author of the internationally popular blog Thoughts.Stories.Life., proves that anyone, no matter where they start from, can change their life, achieve success, and live their dream.

As a single mom living on food stamps, Sarah completely changed her life of poverty to enable her to live her dream in just 18 months. Sarah discovered the tools to change her life after her husband abandoned her and their three small children in 2008. Her story has impacted hundreds of thousands worldwide through her simple eight-step plan for achieving success known as the #HBRMethod.

The book features 51 inspiring stories of people who believe in Sarah's message, each of whom she personally interviewed for this book. They include: NFL star running back Jonathan Stewart; NBA power forward Anthony Tolliver; famed artist Victor Matthews; best-selling author Laura Munson; middleweight world boxing champion Daniel Jacobs; CEO Ryan Blair; and Morgan Stanley executive director Kimberley Hatchett, among many others. Hustle Believe Receive shows how these stories are connected and how Sarah, a single mom from Oregon, manages to bring them all together in the most unlikely way.

Hustle Believe Receive contains true tales of how real people are living the impossible. This book answers the question "how did they do that?" and, more importantly, shows how you can, too.

Lots of Great Information

Many people have already commented on the excessive use of the word 'hashtag' and I agree, in audio form it can be a little distracting. However once you get past this minor annoyance you will find the information very useful. Application of the information cannot help but improve your quality of life, and perhaps even help you achieve greatness. The information is here, are you prepared to use it? I'd recommend this book.

Book over audiobook

I feel like the message of this book was great and if I had of read it rather than listened to it I think I would have really enjoyed it more but I couldn’t get past the amount of times “hashtag” was said out loud in the audio version. It really made it less enjoyable. I do however suggest buying the actual book!

The spoken “hashtags” were distracting and a tad much

Not the narrators fault, she had great energy, but there were so many hashtags.
The premise is good and empowering with homework projects to materialize the method.

Hashtags drove me crazy

I loved the idea of this story but all the “hashtag” this and “hashtag” that drove me nuts. I would recommend reading this book tastier than listening to it

1 million Hashtags will make your ears bleed

I wished I would have read reviews before I started this one. As stated in other reviews the narration and excessive misuse of the phrase “hashtag hbr” and “#hashtag hbr method” is so painful. It has no purpose in written or audible literature whatsoever. I really hope producers consider editing it out. I’m sure there is merit in the content but the narration is way too distracting to finish it.

Hashtags will drive you #crazy

I read through the reviews before downloading this story and noticed how many people had complained about the use of the word “hashtag”. I really thought they must be exaggerating, but by chapter 2, I - a person who fancies herself a practitioner of yoga and meditation- was ready to hurl my phone across the room.

The story would have been compelling and the narrator is great, but the jarring, dare I say, triggering nonstop, shameless use of the word “hashtag” every few words makes this impossible to enjoy.

Lastly, on a less primal level, intellectually, I can’t help but feel there was a marketing team in house signing off on the idea that somehow this hashtag thing would be cutting edge and maybe inspire a social media frenzy which irritates me even more.

And if you don’t believe me, well, just have a listen.

Irritating use of “hashtag ...” throughout the book.

This e-book is irritating to listen to. The highly repetitive use of “hashtag ...” throughout the book makes it difficult to listen to.

well I made it through the first chapter... barely

I love books like this and normally I read reviews before I start a book but I was excited by what this book had to offer so I just jumped in. #ANNOYING #OMG #STABMEINTHEEAR. I have actually never heard the worst hashtag so many times in one sitting. I wanted so badly to hear this book but I couldn't go on another second. I am glad this is an included book and not one I paid for or I would have been mad.
