Publisher's Summary

Quinton Thorn has always wanted to own a bakery and share his love of food with as many people as possible. His passion for taking regular recipes and turning them into something special is what makes his food unique.

When he meets Enzo Reid the first day of culinary school, he has no reason to question why he’s there. He accepts that Enzo is just as passionate about baking as he is. He soon realizes he has feelings for Enzo that go beyond friendship, but for the sake of their business, he keeps his feelings to himself.

Enzo Reid started culinary school, hoping for a second chance. He’d already had one career, and when it disintegrated, he wanted a new start. He never meant to deceive Quinton, but he was never totally honest with him, either, and now, his actions will force him to choose between keeping their friendship or continuing their business. He has six months to decide what he’ll do, then he’ll need to live with his decision and the choices he’s made in the past.

A friends-to-enemies-to-lovers romance.

A light hearted friends to enemies to lovers romance!

This a sweet, light hearted friends to enemies to lovers romance and it involves delicious baked goods! A fun, enjoyable and quick listen that is bound to put you in a good mood. Quinton and Enzo were adorable and I loved the setting of this story. Douglas Wilkin was the perfect narrator for this book and I enjoyed his audio delivery.

A Little Sweet, A Little Angsty... All Good

This was a very enjoyable story! I really liked the MCs, especially the relationship between the characters and the growth in their relationship. I didn't realize I needed this dose of happy, but I did and I'm glad it was this listen. If you are in the mood for sweet, but *not*overly saccharine, I would recommend this audio. The narration was well-done, with distinctive voices and convincing emotions.

loved it

I love this story. Quinton and Enzo meet at Baking school. They open a business after the graduate. But after a while they get on each others nerves. Quinton finally has enough and says he wants out and give Enzo six months. Can Enzo get past the past that haunts him in order to have Quinton in his life? The narrator really brings this story to life. Loved his voice.

sooo good!!

Enzo and Quinton went to culinary school together and became best friends. They open a bakery together, but after time Quinton realizes they should part ways. They work together over the next six months to keep their friendship. This was amazing!! Douglas Wilkin did a really good job with the narration. His vocalization had me tearing up in a few places.

Sweet and Tasty Friends/Enemies to Lovers

I really enjoy all of BL Maxwell's audiobooks because she is such a great author and finds amazing narrators for each one. Douglas Wilkin is a familiar narrator to me because I really enjoyed his voice in Salt & Lime :) Six Months was one of the earliest books I read by BL so I was excited to see that it would be in audio form. It's a quick listen perfect for any day of the week. Why? These men own a bakery together! FOOD PORN in audio format makes for a delightful and enjoyable listen. Quinton and Enzo became friends when they met in culinary school and decided to open a bakery together. Quinton always had a crush on his friend but unfortunately, their friendship and partnership quickly soured. Douglas Wilkin does a great job narrating both of their voices and I'm excited to hear more from him. If you enjoy sweet and tasty romances, then you'll really enjoy this audiobook. It might be short for some people but that's why there's a replay button ;) I passed the whole work day listening to Quinton and Enzo on repeat :)
