disappointed

Not happy at all that the original narrator left. this affects the story for me greatly! this new narrator doesn't put as much effort in it feels like. very disappointing and not sure if I can keep listening now. it's just to strange having someone take over right in the middle of the series when you are so use to the other guy .

Need Todd menesses back

Neil Hellegers is a good reader, but this was not the right one for him. I couldn’t tell the characters apart and it ruined the whole book for me..

Disappointment on many fronts

First, the narrator change is a big downside. He is a narrator and only that. It is missing the voice actor part. Throughout the book it is hard to know which character is speaking because they all sound the same.

Second, the story feels like it's filled with moment that are overdescribed and that the whole storyline doesn't progress. Seeing this is a "Part 1", it makes sense but when considering that a book as been split in two gave me the sense of being milked.

Overall the story of the previous books carries this one. If it was not a sequel in this series, I would request a refunds,

Changing voice actors, not good for series

Story is fun and enjoyable. Voice acting change horrible.

I won't be continuing the audible experience due to the voice actor change. Neil just doesn't compare to Todd. Two very different styles and Todd nailed the vocal differences. Neil's voice misses Rugrat and Eric vocal differences and thier voices sound the same.

Great addition to the series loved the narrator

I came to write a review specifically because I saw that the new narrator had received some negative comments. I personally have enjoyed his voice and take on the characters greatly. The story still has some of the same issues with the characters constant stream of success with little struggle and the apparent ineptitude of everyone who stands against them. Overall great book with great power fantasy MC’s

I miss Rugrats southern accent

they changed performers. though the new guy is good I prefered the old one. I am not able to distinguish the characters just by voice anymore :(. also I enjoyed how the old narrator was slow when going over the stats rather than rushing through them. now they just blur together I don't even bother trying to listen to them now. The story is getting dark.

Really don't like the new narrator.

The narrator needs to work on more character voice performance. And changing narrators mid series is always jarring.

Bit of a departure from earlier installments

struggled with new narrator. His tempo is faster which is appreciated, but he put the emphasis at random parts of the sentences. This makes for a confusing listening experience. There is less progression and more combat in this book
