    Aaptiv’s Sleep Better program includes seven classes led by meditation and mindfulness expert Jade Alexis. On day one of the program you’ll begin with ten minutes of relaxation and focus on your breath. As the week progresses you’ll graduate to a 30-minute session and incorporate techniques that train your body to release tension and prepare for deep sleep including breathwork, body scans, and yoga nidra - a type of meditative state achieved before sleep.

most stressful guided meditation.

too many quick variation of background noises. the breathing exercises are going too fast.
the lady speaks in a stressful and quick way instead of being assertive and calming.
this gave me more anxiety than what I started with

It's a great sleep aid, but the voice :(

Yikes, so choppy and narrator sounding agitated

I thought I had to listen to believe it. kinda like a boot camp style. It sounds like its A I talking, not a real voice.

Did the opposite

Not sure what they were thinking the music is way too fast, and changes every minute. And the voice is horrible, she is too stern and talks too fast and too loud. If being aggressively talked to sleep is your thing this is perfect but the rest of us not so much. I want a soothing relaxing voice to lull me to sleep.

Puts me to sleep, meditation that clears stresses.

Sometimes going to sleep really is difficult. You think about your day and then suddenly remember things that you've forgotten. The more you have tackle during your day, the more difficult the sleep. This meditation based series really gets you to get to clear the table that is your mind.

Love it .....but

I love these bedtime meditations...they truly help me fall and stay asleep...I have had problems sleeping for years and this is the thing that works for me. If possible Please remove the This is Audible at the end it is not necessary and actually startled me the first time....not a criticism, just an observation and recommendation.

This thing is awesome. If you slow the voice down by a little bit it makes it even better. I was sleeping before the end of the first day.

Couldn't make it past the first few minutes.

Not what I expected. If I wanted to meditate I don't need this. And I don't want to.

Wake better

Most Sleep Better episodes weren't calming or relaxing for me. The background music was just terrible except for may be for two episodes or so. The tone of the instructor, Jade Alexis, did not have that calming and soothing effect I was looking for and instead felt monotonous, especially after having listened to audio books from audible sleep collection and other wonderful authors and narrators who specifically wrote and narrated for sleep time.

In these seven Sleep Better episodes, the way of body scan meditation differed between episodes. Like right arm followed by right leg in one then, right hand followed by left hand in the other and a different order in another episode. I found it annoying since the nature of body scan meditation is still same so why not just follow a comforting routine. Routines are anyway good and hygienic for sleep quality and quantity.

Overall, I am surprised at my own will power to have listened to all seven episodes, one each night, for a week, though I will never put myself through this again. I am really glad this is over and done! Yay!🙂

The background music is disquieting

Couldn't get into it

this one was a struggle for me from the beginning. The narrator's voice and the rapid pace of each segment made it very difficult to get into a meditative state. I finally gave up and marked them all finished because I knew I wouldn't go back to them at any point.

Utterly useless

Like so many of the “freebies,” it’s worth every penny. Poorly edited and redundant, its so-called psychological techniques can’t overcome its noisiness and hocum.
