Publisher's Summary

I met Alessandra at a party. Tried to impress her. Was almost positive I was going to fail.

I think I said something along the lines of, “I’m a Goat called Fish who’s hung like a bull - but not really. I’m actually pretty average.” Smooth. I know. Try not to be jealous.

When she laughed - and I mean, really laughed - I knew she wasn’t like the other girls I’d been meeting on tour. Hell, she wasn’t even in the same stratosphere as those fangirls and gold-diggers.

At one point during the party, Alessandra said, “There’s nothing like a girl’s first love.” I knew she was talking about the first smash hit by my band, 22 Goats. Alessandra said it was the first song she’d heard by us and it “hit her like a ton of bricks”. Ironic, seeing as how I was having the same reaction from being in her presence.

I made it my mission to impress her. Give her the kiss of a lifetime that night. But since I’ve always been the dude with zero game, nothing went according to plan.

I’m not giving up, though. I’m going to win this girl over. I’m done sitting on the sidelines, watching the bad boy getting the girl. This time, the nice guy will finish first. Even if it’s the last thing he’ll do.

Great Read

Lauren Rowe is a talented author who brings life to her stories. I followed her reference to music by looking the artist up on YouTube. I followed her reference to OMGyes.com and was intrigued. I have listened to all her books about 22 Goats, River Records, and etc. Great flow to the books and very interactive. I could not put this book down. It was a happy loving and sexy read. Loved this book and recommend it.

Outstanding audiobook!

Wow, I'm flabbergasted by this audiobook!!! Including fireflies, during a concert scene and smitten during the birthday bash was so brilliant!!! It added so much to the story and the experience, it blew me away!!! Smitten is the story of Fish, the 22 goats bassist and Alessandra, Georgina's sister. It includes all the characters of the Lauren Rowe epic series, as well as a sweet/hot love story. I have loved every single book of this writer, listened to every audiobook and wonder what is next!!!

Such a cute story......

I was so excited to see this story get done. I loved their love story! To me they were cute, awkward soul mates right from the start. Also, loved the music and singing in the book!!! So fun! Andi and Tim were fantastic!! 💕 Even though this could be a stand-alone you need to go and take the full journey to really value its whole goodness. Also it’s such a freaking amazing series!!!

Couldn't Finish It

Juvenile story telling. Simplistic plot, boring listen. Characters not very fleshed out. Do not recommend.

A Fun & Cute Story

This was a nice summer read, the storyline flowed easily and there was good character development. The narrators were easy to understand, and there were a few musical interludes that I found to be enjoyable and added a nice touch to the story as a whole.

Sweet love story

A very sweet love story from start to finish. Ally and Fish are like the “supporting” characters you want to see get together because they are the kind hearts of their drama-drama-drama friend circles who deserve to be stars in their own rights. Like other reviewers, I LOVED the musical performances.

Another absolute delight

Charming and sigh worthy. I am so happy to have added this book to my library, so I can visit with Alfie again and again.

Sweet

Andi Arndt is always the best and never disappoints, but I really missed Jacob Morgans Voice. overall the story was sweet. Maybe too sugary sweet for my taste. I loved Georgina and Reeds story, and this could not top that.

Super sweet romance that leave you happy & smiling

A romance that starts includes a scene from the Reed Rivers/Georgina /Liar trilogy that introduces the star struck couple. Matthew Fishbine or Fish is the shy, sometimes awkward, backup singer and Base guitar player for successful 22 Goats rock band when he meets aspiring singer-songwriter Alessandra, Georgina’s 19 year old stepsister at a party Reed is hosting. He is “ smitten” at first sight. She is a sweet, beautiful, nervous unsure virgin who is captivated by Matthew the sweet guy as well as attracted to Fish, the rock star. This is their love story, the story of her rise to fame, and how they learn to make music together on stage and through life. It is a feel good story with some hot scenes, a couple musical numbers, and characters from the Morgan Brother books (looking forward to reading those) as well as Reed and Georgina’s trilogy story. The narration is excellent, and could only have been better had it been performed duet style. It would be a great candidate for a Lifetime movie or while it is too sexy for what Hallmark currently produces it could be a breakout for them with its happily ever after ending. This is a stand alone with minor fretting but no drama Unlike Reed and Georgina’s previous trilogy. The characters are very refreshingly innocent and unbelievably nice; this story is like a bite of a favorite dessert, satisfying but leaving you wanting more!

Audio Required!

I originally downloaded the kindle version and then went back and added audible - so worth it. The audiobook is remarkable and includes music and songs. Love Fish and Ally and look forward to Colins story. Also the epilogue provides a new generation of music and stories. #wifi #jackson #future22goats

Brilliant

If you don't laugh out loud while listening to this there is something very wrong. I loved it when I read it, and I love it even more listening to it, and bonus real singing of the songs, well some of them. Really is worth a credit if you don't own the book to purchase via whispersync

Love!!!

I absolutely adored this book!!! I loved how involved every aspect was! Great writing and fantastic narration. This book was a home run for me! I usually go for more drama and darkness but this was a welcome change in pace. Great job to all involved in this book! Y’all went above and beyond! I can’t say it enough worth every penny!!!

Cute but predictable

Cute story, however it was so predictable. Not much of a storyline climax. Basically a love story without hurdles.
