This book is a pretty standard isekai story, without any novel setting or characters or plot, but that's fine because the execution is done extremely well. I like that MC is a competent combatant but still has a lot of room to grow. The pacing is brisk, the progression is satisfying, and the plot is interesting. Basically there is nothing to complain about this basic story. I will gladly spend more credits on this series.

I love the MC, love the pragmatism and the lack of freaking out and just doing things rationally for once! I'm not big on romance, but I think this was done tastefully with a little spin on some complicated feelings for the MC. but I love her GFs character as well and all the side characters. the character writing is really what propels the story, they feel real and have their own issues and real world problems. the plot is still being slowly aired out, but I look forward to the rest of the series. definitely worth a listen!

also the narration was great too with different accents, affections, tones, etc that you can easily tell which character is talking
