Summary

Rule No. 2: Show no fear.

They're vile and twisted.

The only thing more f--ked up than the Sick Boys is me, and I'm ready to show them.

The Sick Boys are hiding something from me. They want to pretend like I didn't kill my rapist and they didn't help. But we're not ordinary college students, that much has become clear to me, and I'm growing tired of all of the lies and secrets.

Their masks are cracking, and, finally, I'm starting to see the grotesque reality underneath. It's far darker than I ever expected, and it's not enough. They know everything about me, so now it's my turn. I fear nothing. Not them. Not the man that I killed or the people who set me up.

Fear is for the weak, and I, Avalon Manning, am anything but.

Contains mature themes.

The narrator’s voice for the female lead grated on my nerves. She sounded much older than the character is supposed to be and kept lowering her voice to sound tough.. Also not a fan of having dual narration. Would’ve been better as a duet. Plot was ok but it was dragging on and I almost DNF because it got annoying. Female character was trying way too hard to be tough. First book was much better. These 2 could’ve been combined and cut into one.

Just wouldn’t end already

This story keeps you entertained and enthralled. I can’t wait to start the third book.

Continuation of greatness!

The first book was great so I had high expectations. Unfortunately, this one isn’t as good but it’s still worth the read. Think I have a crush on the male narrator.. his voice is 10/10 for this roll.

It’s good but not great

Una historia llena de sorpresas sobre una guerrera que tropieza con el amor que no deseaba ni esperaba.

The story is pretty decent, I really can’t get over why they have the guy and girl fake a man voice and a girl voice while doing there chapter. It’s really weird, like when the chapter is in deans POV, he does a fake girls voice for Avalon, and when it’s in avalons POV she fakes a male voice for dean. It’s distracting and odd, I’m. It sure why they would do it that way. Especially since Avalon goes from being super attitude and kinda bratty in her voice but when dean does her voice in his chapters, he makes her sound more meek. It’s just odd. But besides that the story is good and I’m hoping all the unanswered questions are revealed and good in the next book.
