I enjoy Pettrey’s romantic suspenses enormously. I don’t always love the dialogue, but the characterization, setting and exciting action scenes are excellent. The slow burn romance between Gage and Darci was paced perfectly.

I love this series, and this book is no exception. I've grown very attached to this fictional family. My one peeve is very minor, but that the narrator kept mispronouncing macchiato.
