Great overview.
I think it's really important to listen the story of Ray's life so that you can gain a better insight into where the thoughts have come from

Extreme truthfulness.
Idea-meritocratic decision making is better than traditional autocratic or democratic decision making in almost all cases.

Wow!
It's still worth listening as an interesting autobiographical account of one man's work and approach, but as a blueprint for success, I suspect you'll end up being disappointed.

Good book overall.
Good book overall a lot of concepts were well thought out and worth trying with my company. A little verbose saying the same thing over and over essentially with minor adjustments.

Extraordinary book.
Looking forward to tools he talked in this book to be publicly available, especially pain button app and his next book on investment principles. Most importantly, I am very excited to incorporate some of the principles in my life!!

Essential.
Essential listen for entrepreneurs like me that are building an organization from scratch. This book is your mentor-in-a-box. I found solace in the fact that some of the processes that I'd developed internally and questioned the long-term trade-off were done with some success in Bridgewater.
