Publisher's Summary

Grim Reaper Charley Davidson is back in the final installment of Darynda Jones’ New York Times best-selling paranormal series!

Charley Davidson, Grim Reaper extraordinaire, is pissed. She’s been kicked off the earthly plane for eternity - which is the appropriate amount of time to make a person stark-raving mad. But someone’s looking out for her, and she’s allowed to return after a mere hundred years in exile. Is it too much to hope for that not much has changed? Apparently it is. Bummer.

She’s missed her daughter, she’s missed Reyes and Beep, but now that she’s back on earth, it’s time to put to rest burning questions that need answers. What happened to her mother? How did she really die? Who killed her? And are cupcakes or coffee the best medicine? It all comes to a head in an epic showdown between good and evil in this final smart and hilarious audiobook.

SO SAD ITS OVER.

This has been one of the best audiobooks/series I've ever listened to. I am so grateful that Lorelei was able to narrate this story and bring it to life in such a way that I never could have just reading it in my own mind.
This last book had so many ups and downs and it was just an emotional roller coaster that I was so glad to be strapped into and riding on.

My ONLY qualm with the ending was, what happened to Angel? All of our other beloved characters and friends of Charlie had some reference in the end or were able to cross over. Unless I missed it, I was left wishing he had one more paragraph written about him so we could know the ending to his story as well. Did he cross over? Did he decide to stay and help U.B?

I just couldn't get into it

I love this series and the characters, and Lorelei King is one of my favourite narrators but for some reason this book just didn't hook me. I was really looking forward to the finale of the series but I have had this book for a few months and have just now finally gotten around to finishing the last hour and a half. I think maybe there were just too many things going on in it. a few things the author did with the story that I wished she hadn't either - I won't put in spoilers but just didn't feel like on top of everything else those things needed to happen.

anyway I will reread this series again (I've done it a few times now) and I'm sure this book will get reread at some point and maybe it'll catch me better a second time. I will certainly read any spin offs for Beep and Osh too but there are others on this series that to me are a more fun and better read.

Fabulous from beginning to end

This was my first taste of Lorelei King’s narration and it will definitely not be the last. Her voice(s) gave a whole new dimension to this story I’d already read so many times.

An absolute must!
