Loved it!

I am actually writing this for my son who read this book in fifth grade. He LOVED it! A lot of the material is things he had really never thought about and it led to some very interestng family conversations about the China one-child policy, etc.

Great for teens!

Perfect for teenagers. Opens up the mind to the possibility of what can happen with too much Government override.

Make a movie

This book can easily be made into a movie. The writing is young for its targeted audience but the storyline is amazing.

Amazing book
(WARNING SPOILERS)
I was so attached to the characters I almost cried at the end when everything goes down hill but was delighted when Luke was finally free from the population police.

Good book

I read this book as a kid. I was happy to see it has an audio book because I never finished the series and now I can start it up again. This book still comes to memory and I strongly recommend it.
