Each day, their paths overlapped for a mere eight minutes. But, one afternoon, on the bus ride home from school, a single reckless act left Sasha severely burned, and Richard charged with two hate crimes and facing life imprisonment. A Must-Read

Taking part in the journey of this book filled the spaces in my heart. Much learning about the US Criminal Justice System, and 2SLGBTQ+. This is a must read on the journey to Anti-Racism. Niá:wen.

Interesting story but too much propaganda

I sympathize with both of the main characters in spite of the political agenda of the book. The story tackled a number of social issues both old and new. I can appreciate the levels of complexity around this story. The trouble I had was the political angle the author used this story to push.The narrator did a great job.
