Publisher's Summary

Eighteen-year-old Charlee Parker met the love of her life in a parking lot-a leggy brunette with a valedictorian medal hanging from her rear-view mirror and an attitude as biting as a Boston winter. Alexandra Woodson was guarded, a 19-year-old orphan set on a bright future in hospitality administration. She never imagined an art student with a penchant for cheesy pick-up lines and stealing parking spaces would crack her rigid exterior and claim her heart.

For four years, theirs was an enviable love - evergreen and growing. Unbreakable... until it broke.

Alex's job now brings her back to Boston, after five years working on the opposite side of the country. When, by chance, they meet again, Charlee and Alex are swept up in a whirlwind of heart-rending history, tossed between past and present, and lovers old and new. Will their lingering connection be enough to convince them that some loves are meant to last? Or should the past remain in the past?

Contains mature themes.

Now That's a Love Story!!!!

this book was so powerful I'm not sure how to start any sort of review. I'm not sure which was better... the amazing storyline or Abby craden narrating. loved both!!! the whole story played out perfectly. this audiobook is so filled with emotion it's really hard to pinpoint the right words to use here. I loved the characters (especially Charlie) and the whole thing definitely gave me the feels. I'm sure it will be a long time before I find another love story so perfect. sorry this review is all over the place. Ha. the book was so good I honestly feel like I should contact the author and tell her how much I appreciated it. anyway, if you are reading this and considering getting this book, please do.

This was a really good book.

This is one of my favorite audiobooks. I’ve listened to a lot recently and this is in the top 5. I appreciated Charlie’s character best. I occasionally wanted to poke Alex in the eye - lol - but I understand where she’s emotionally coming from. Some people struggle doing what’s best for themselves if it involves hurting someone else. This was an emotional ride. But a good one.

SO good, seriously.

I have listened to many many romances, and I have to say this is one of the best I’ve listened to. It’s sweet and sad and steamy and beautiful.

good yet confusing<br />

constant jumping in time with no indication or transition almost made me give up on a good book with an excellent performance by Abby Crayden.
Add in some dates or even just years to keep the confusion down.
Worth reading.

Expected Better

After reading many of the reviews, I was really expecting something with more "wow". Unfortunately, there was just sad, slow motion whining and pining. I kept waiting for it to get better, but it never really did.

*sigh* Not My Favorite

I hate to leave negative reviews, because obviously it’s subjective but...I was severely disappointed. I read reviews and thought I was in for a mountain of emotions with a heart wrenching story...unfortunately no. I found it too wordy and overly dramatic. I feel like it tried to shove how deep their love was down your throat, it felt overdone and sooo drawn out. I get why it was written in present tense, so the reader can recognize the flashbacks, but it still bothered me. I like this author and love this narrator, unfortunately this story just didn’t register with me.

Needs edit and rewrite

Pls set higher standards for your new audiobook venture. This story is heavy on sentiment, but very light on substance. As the listener I felt like I ought to be paid for much needed feedback on a rough draft.

Heavy and Wonderful

This book is amazing. The characters are all perfectly developed and I must admit I’m madly in love with Charlee. That being said, this is not your typical feel good romance. It’s heavy and deep and you will feel the pain of the characters. If you are looking for something light hearted, this book is not the one. If you are looking to really feel, love, laugh and cry, buy this book.

loved it

Wonderful characters, great story line. If it’s meant to be it’s meant to be. And Abby Craden is one of my favorite narrators.
