The best European Short Stories read

Cathy Dobson sets the tone of each story and manages to taint each one with a mood of aloofness and intentional hubris. There is an intellectual commentary to her narrative and at the end of each line, she manages to allude to an elitist's tone of derisive judgement. The audible renditions of the works are somewhat stymied by her lack of story-telling notions and communication skills. Her disassociation from character traits blends the readings into a blob Cathy makes each story non-dramatic, and leaves me, the listen, wanting.
