It's just an ad for Vanguard, nor worth the time or money

The whole book is trying to make a case for index funds especially Vanguard being a sound investment. The word "guide" is very misleading for a book like this which is pretry much a marketing campaign for Vanguard.

Very little information is being conveyed in the book, all of which is easily accessible online. Exact parahraphs are repeated several times in the book and the text is dominated by securities performance stats and shiny reviews from Bogle heads forums.
