Keep the tissues handy

Such an emotional story. From the start, Marian Keyes does such a great job of wrapping the reader/listener in the emotional turmoil of the breakdown of a loving, but now complacent, marriage. My heart was breaking alongside Amy and Hugh.

Fan of author reading her books but this narrator is very good

Love how Keyes addresses so many aspects of life with a touch of humour! McMahon does do a fab job of reading but I prefer Keyes voice if I were to choose.

Thoroughly entertaining

I forgot just how entertaining a storyteller Marian Keyes is. When a book can make you laugh out loud or bring a tear to your eyes, it really is time well spent and it was.

Another great story from Keys & wonderfully narrated

The story is well thought out and described, as all of Marian Keys books.
The storyteller does such a great job with her voice to help differentiate the characters and express different emotions.

Not my favorite Marian Keyes

A bit dreary for Ms. Keyes - not many laugh-till-you-cry moments. The narrator's attempts at male voices was quite cringe-worthy.
