great book

I've always felt better eating more meat this book help explains why that is. I've always felt guilty for not eating more vegetables. I have even tried going vegan for a couple months once but it never fixed any of my digestion issues.

Excellent book! Well written!

Lots of research and work in this book. Very useful and will be life changing for me.! Although very scientific at times I do have a basic background which helped with the jargon.

Fat? Anxious? Depressed? You Owe This To Yourself

I've been a seriously overweight, clinically depressed and anxious wreck my whole life. I've done every mainstream diet on the block, and it was always fighting uphill against my body, gaining back whatever I lost and then some.

Very detail oriented

I really enjoyed this book even though at times it could get a little more scientific than my brain could process while listening. I was already inclined to try the diet more seriously after learning about Mikhaila Peterson's story with the lion diet. I tried it for a few weeks and saw the benefits really quickly. So I needed to learn more about it. This book is a great addition to my knowledge and is a very good way to be introduced to this way of life!

Great Content but no PDF Found

I loved that the author himself did the narration. The content was excellent but the author made numerous references to the accompanying PDF, but the PDF is no where to be found. This is very disheartening because I wanted to see all these illustrations the Dr. Paul Saladino was talking about.

Life changing

I want to make it clear that I have eaten what would be considered a very healthy, "balanced" diet for the last 20 years which includes nutrient dense, organic foods choices whenever possible and cooking with pure, extra virgin olive oil. I have followed the protocols for being healthy and still, at 58 years of age and maintaining my youthful 100 lbs of body weight, I have developed Hashimoto's, osteoporosis, NAFLD, low level inflammation and serious drug sensitivities. While reading Dr. Saladino's book, I started the carnivore protocols against my GP's advice. How odd that she was more comfortable with me sticking to the "balanced" eating plan that led to all my problems. Curiouser and curiouser. Instantly, I drove into organ meats and bone broth along with procuring grass-fed meats from local vendors a well as Belcampo, plus supplements from Heart & Soil. After 3 weeks I can already tell the difference. It is a complete living paradigm adjustment but if I'm unwilling to change my habits and my palate, then my belief that the body is a miraculous, adaptive system of beauty is voided. In this book, Dr. Saladino offers very specific physiologic pathways that you can either study or just gain an overall understanding of. You can spend as much or as little time with the information as you prefer. In either case, you will come away with ample information to conceive of the concept of ultimate health. I recommend that, in the least, you experiment with the recommended foods. All you have to lose is a few pounds, literally. What you will gain is priceless. This has changed my life. I can't wait to see how I feel after a year.

APEX CARNIVORE

I thought this nose to tail audio book was extremely nourshing. I bought this book after a friend told me about carnivore and how it changes his whole life. So many issues this man had and now is fit lean!. I started 15 days ago Today is June 2 2021 started at 360 lbs and now on 6-2-2021 19 lbs down. I have been fat my whole life. Grade 10 270 lbs im 46 6-3-2021

I FEEL SO GOOD THE BEST I HAVE EVER FELT. I WAS SICK FAT AND DRUGGED! I FEEL SO VIBRANT. I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD WANT TO ENJOY LIFE! BUT LIKE THIS I WANNA LIVE FOREVER! NO MORE WANTING TO KILL MYSELF BUT I AM GONNA LIVE THRIVE AND MY VOICE WILL BE HEARD.
I AM CHANGING MY LIFE THEN I WILL BE CHANGING OTHERS. THIS BOOK IS MY BIBLE.

The best case for carnivore diet

This is the best case I've heard for carnivore diet and there is a lot of interesting studies referenced in this book, However I'm still not convinced there's any universal diet witch to be clear is not a claim made in the book. What I have been convinced of is it's likely most animal products have been unjustly demonized....

impressive

I had my hesitations. I am an avid learner when it comes to health and optimization. I of course have been inundated with the concept and the belief that it is impossible to survive without a diet that is basically vegan, or the bare minimum high im plant consumption.

I listen to chapters 11 and 12 first and started my journey on a carnivore diet, and I'm quite impressed with how I feel. my HRV is lower than I would have expected, but my weight is down about 10 pounds and my libido and strength are through the roof. I I also have a very noticeable calm energy that is consistent throughout the day.

I don't think I'll eat carnivore for the rest of my life, but it will definitely be a tool in my war chest for longevity and quality of life.

regarding the author, he definitely believes what he believes and looks for data to support it, but that's what I expected. at times, it was a little dense with science but the author is passionate and is convincing in his genuine care for humanity.

Great reference even if you aren't full carnivore

I've been following Paul for quite sometime and his passion and encyclopedic knowledge of meat based nutrition and environmental impact is impressive. The book is a fun and eye opening read. I was already 100% carnivore at the time of reading but this only serves to solidify what I already know, and that is that I will be primarily animal based for life!
