Summary
Leave the rat race behind. Join our commune. Don't worry, it will be fine…
Luke Bridestone flees London for a fresh start in a remote, off-grid commune. Nine days later, he is found in a coma. His fellow commune members lie dead in the forest.
Was it the work of a brutal intruder or something darker lurking within?
To find out, we need to go back to the beginning: a rainy day in July, a clearing in the forest, thatched cabins and woodsmoke – and the ominous signs of the dangers to come.

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗘 is very different in style, but has the same kind of intriguing storyline that pulls you in and keeps you glued to the pages. It's a slow burn compelling mystery/suspense filled with tension and twists that will keep you engaged.
Danny's strong suit is the way he builds his atmospheric settings and brings them to life. I loved the idea of the remote commune in the isolated woods giving you that 'locked door' trapped feeling and a constant state of unease.
The plot is built in layers, each one more gripping, and as the tension builds, the unrest begins in the communes community.
I loved the 'Before' and 'After' the reckoning and all the uniquely different characters with their own personalities and secrets.
Danny Dagan was an auto buy author from his very first book and I am so excited to see what he does next.
The audiobook is narrated by Stu Summers who did such a brilliant job voicing all the characters with his wonderful accents . He definitely enhanced my listening pleasure and brought the book to life.
I highly recommend
I always love Danny's atmospheric settings
