Publisher's Summary

In this second volume of the two-audiobook arc that began with Insurrection (audiobook five), Lucas braves all odds to free his friends and in the process spawns the only hope for the nation's future: a new resistance movement that will take the battle to its enemies and drive them from its shores.

Struggling to keep a great series great

Some series finds the author hunting for new experiences, situations, , material and adventures for the main characters. Al be it a fantasy apocalypse series this one is quickly falling into that trap and as a consequence starting to stray from a somewhat believable story. The author at this point really needs to inject some new characters. That said I read this book through and will get the next one in the series hoping the author can keep the great story line going.
