About this listen

This box set contains Devil's Pawn & Devil's Redemption and tells the complete story of Jericho St. James and Isabelle Bishop in one convenient bundle!

Isabelle

Jericho St. James hates my family.

Powerful, wealthy beyond belief, he’s the most dangerous man I know.

And I belong to him.

He’s taken me from my home.

He’ll make me his wife.

And he’s made it very clear I’ll be sleeping in his bed.

But my beast has a secret.

His one weakness. One that makes hating him impossible.

He has a daughter.

And he’ll do anything to keep her safe.

Jericho

The Bishops stole what money cannot replace.

A life for a life. Now I’ll take one of theirs.

Isabelle is my pawn.

I will make her my wife.

I will bed her.

She will be mine in every way.

And once I take what I need from her, I will erase the Bishop family as if they never existed at all.

I love this author’s writing, the way she weaves a story, how she brings all the loose ends together to form an amazing story. The IVI series is amazing and I can’t get enough. The narrators are perfect, love the deep baritone of Trevor Murphy - my new favourite! Use the credit or outright by the book, either way you won’t be disappointed.

Ok so I first have to praise the narrators. They did a wonderful job of the read. Now. The storyline? I have never wanted to pull my hair out every time Isabelle literally acted like a dumb B. Now I understand she is young (19) but come on author give her a back bone. And Jericho!! I have never wanted to slap a man so much for hurting an innocent girl. Honestly the amount of times I huffed in exasperation over there many fights and I don’t know the amount of times Isabelle almost died or was emotionally abused by him. Now I understand this a trope people may like but damn man this was maddening to read. I would have honestly enjoyed it minus everything I’ve mentioned. This is just my opinion and I do think if you like this type of read you would enjoy this book

So I guess we normalizing Stockholm syndrome
