Book about good and evil
I enjoyed the book. I felt that it was delivering a message of darkness and light. The narrator Sandy Rustin was very good. I have not listened to books by either author before. I will check them out for future listening.

Predictable
I enjoyed this story and it was well read, but from the point where the protagonist first met a Fury I knew how the rest of the story was going to play out. So while there were some interesting twists I found the story predictable overall. Not a “Must read” but the narrator did a good job with the different voices and it was a good listen.

My First Audio Book - Amazing!!!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and didn't want it to end! It was very beautifully written and narrated and I left like was a part of the story. I love the way it displays love and how easily we are blinded by some of things we cling to.

Outstanding
Thought provoking and disturbing. An excellent listen. I hope to read/hear more from this father/daughter duo. I almost want to have a sequel to see what happens next.

My first book by either author!
I was not overly fond of this book, however, I will say I liked the writing style and it did keep me somewhat interested in listening to the end. I thought the narration was great! I don't think I have heard Sandy Rustin narrate another book, but I think she was a really great narrator and will keep my eyes open for other books she has narrated.
This isn't a book I would listen to again simply because of the religious undertones. I would not have purchased this had I known .
I am certainly willing to try another book by either author, this one just wasn't for me.

Overall good ending was a bit too drawn out
Overall I enjoyed it the first 3/4 very much, but felt it got a bit preachy towards the end and started tuning out once I realized what the conclusion would be, ya we get, it just wrap it up already. But still not a bad listen

I thought it would be about cults. But it was an allegory premoting the cult of Christianity. Not even a well written one.
