TERRIBLE Narrator

Here is a case of an excellent story being ruined by a very poor narrator. Her ponderously slow delivery is compounded by an apparent disinterest in understanding the gist of what she’s reading, leading to misread lines so that the listener struggles to comprehend the narrative. Her odd accent and pronunciation further exacerbate this problem. After listening for two hours, I discarded this version of House of Mirth and switched to the other version offered by Audible.
