Good but not for everyone.

This book was released under the title The Curse of Capistrano in 1919. It was the fist appearance of Zorro and was written as a stand alone story, though later the author wrote more novels.
There is some language and sensibilities people expouse within the novel that you may find strange and even regressive. Please understand that is not the authors intent. This is a swashbuckling adventure story of love, daring, chivalry, and good fighting tyranny.
If you can take yourself out of your 21st century mindset and listen to this as it was intended I think you will find a wonderful story that served to inspire so many others.

Side note. Batman was modeled directly off of this story.
