There is a LOT of content in this book! Listening to the audio book can only give the listener an overview -- mostly, it will tell you whether you want to buy a copy of the print version and work through it for years, or not. But even the overview is a fantastic tour of the depth of thought of its author, Dion Fortune.

I would go so far as to call Dion fortune on Modern master of occult practices. this work is scholarly and thoughtful with clear and concise description for all aspects of the kabbalistic tree of knowledge

Excellent book. Provides such a solid basis for anyone looking to learn kaballah also hints upon the more advanced esoteric principles and truths. A book worth revisiting many times and a must have for any occultist. Also the narrator got the pronunciations of the hebrew words correct which seems to be something most people get wrong. Over all a highly recommended book for anyone serious about spiritual development and occult studies.
