Great Narrators!

Lovely narration, and a pretty great story. Not a conventional murder mystery, but very compelling all the same. The author has a lot of free work on audible, and it has all been great!

Good read

Although we know who the murderer is from the beginning of the book it was interesting how it all played out.

There was a little twist I hadn’t thought about.

I liked this book.

On the edge of my seat by the end

I really enjoyed this book. The story being split between two characters and then coming back to the one in the end. And all the secrets in it. Amazing. Will be looking for more books from this author

I loved this book

I have listened to two books from author Catherine Bronson Howard and have loved both of them. The Nothing Man was excellent. The plot was spell binding and kept you interested right to the end. The performances from the readers was excellent

So so

I really wanted to like this book . But it just didn’t keep me interested enough. It gets such great reviews , but maybe the audiobook was not the way to go ?! Couldn’t get into it but once I start a book I feel obligated to finish it . I did however enjoy the last hour.

WOW. WOW. WOW

this is my third book of hers in a week
I can’t put them down once I start. I’ve listened to Almost 100 books in a year and she is my new favourite author and Im picky. The writing is so clever and the tiniest of character details is so interesting and detailed I was in awe of how she knows so much. Is she writing true crime instead of fiction? You will be asking yourself that. So interesting…suspenseful..real! It literally left me with goosebumps staring at a wall processing it all. Fantastic journey!!

Excellent

The performances are even spookier when played at .7 speed
I’m looking forward to reading another book by Catherine Ryan Howard.

Terribly boring despite the subject matter

I never thought I would be so bored with a book that describes such horrific crimes. The narration was terrible with false sounding intonations from the narrator. There were so many mundane unnecessary details and made the book much too long.

Trouble with the dialiect

Very cleverly written... a book within a book within... I'm still not sure it's completely fiction. My enjoyment suffered from the repetitive rising and falling lilt of the female narrator. In my culture, the rising note of the sentence is the important word. With her, the rising note was irrelevant to what word should have been stressed.

This would make a good movie.
