Not worth it
One of the worst books I have ever listened to. The main character Melanie just keep cycling through the same emotions and thoughts for chapters on end. Boring. The story was completely unbelievable. By the end I was just finishing it for the sake of finishing it. Don’t bother with this book. Melanie is a boring character with no depth, there is so little character development that she’s just a whiny over emotional sniffling twit. The sex scenes were boring and misplaced. Always being “interrupted”. Figured it out within the first couple hours of listening. It didn’t even have anything to do with the serial killer. So dull.

Superb Mystery/Thriller
This book was suggested to me by the Audible people...spam email with an offer for a deal. I am glad I took a chance on it. Lots of twists, good characters, decent plot. Kept me guessing throughout. A little bit too neat, I suppose. Everything ending up fitting "just so". But entertaining nonetheless.
My only complaint is with the performance. Brittany Pressley is very good (excellent pace and clear interest in the text), but waay overenunciates. At times she sounds like Metallica's Hetfield, ending each sentence with an "ah". It's a little bit distracting from an excellent story.
Altogether, I give this excellent book 8 stars out of 10.

Great Audiobook
Really like the story and characters. Well written and the narration was great except a little pet peeve of mine. They keep on producing foyer as foy-er not foy-aa. Not a big difference in the grand scheme of things, but enough to catch my attention

A Good Read
Full of twists and turns and kept me reading into the night. Although the main character seems naive at first, she does seem to develop as the story unfolds. A good read but perhaps a caution about graphic imaging would be appropriate.
