Each morning Livia Moretti makes her way from an apartment overlooking Florence’s famous Duomo to a nearby café, where she drinks espresso and reads the newspaper. To the crowds of tourists who pass by, nothing about Livia will be memorable. She is simply an old lady. Disappointing
Interesting story but I really disliked the way the narrator interpreted the characters
I might have enjoyed it more if I had read it in print
Sophie sounded whiny and the accents were poor although when the narrator spoke in a normal English accent she sounded good
I had to keep fast forwarding because I could not stand the sound of the accents
However other reviewers like it so it is probably just me
