Publisher's Summary

Baseball has never been sexier in an all-new novel by New York Times best-selling Author, K. Bromberg.

Easton Wylder is baseball royalty. The game is his life. His passion. His everything.

So when an injury threatens to end Easton's season early, the team calls in renowned physical therapist, Doc Dalton, to oversee his recovery. Except it's not Doc who greets Easton for his first session, but rather, his daughter, Scout. She may be feisty, athletic, defiant, and gorgeous, but Easton is left questioning whether she has what it takes to help him.

Scout Dalton's out to prove a female can handle the pressure of running the physical therapy regimen of an MLB club. And that proof comes in the form of getting phenom Easton Wylder back on the field. But getting him healthy means being hands-on.

And with a man as irresistible as Easton, being hands-on can only lead to one thing, trouble. Because the more she touches him, the more she wants him, and she can't want him. Not when it's her job to maintain the club's best interest, in regards to whether he's ready to play.

But when sparks fly and fine lines are crossed, can they withstand the heat, or is one of them bound to get burned?

ANOTHER HOME RUN FOR K.B... BUT A CLIFFHANGER

First my rant (an optional read): This was an auto purchase for me before there were any reviews to warn me that it ended on a cliffhanger so when I happily checked my phone to see how long there was left to go.. and it said 4 minutes I was so effing annoyed. No warnings at all and I'll have to spend another credit in June/July to get the rest of the story. I'm so fed up with Authors/Publishers splitting books up - please give us, your fans, WHOLE BOOKS and stop ripping us off like this - because you have given us 15.5 hr books before in the Driven series and other authors have given us even more for just the 1 credit!!

On to my review: You can feel the delicious and sizzling chemistry between Easton and Scout which builds and builds but everyone that Scout has let in.. or loved, has left her in one way or another so she fights their attraction hard because if she lets him in she's sure something or someone will take him away. But Easton is hooked and determined to not only break down Scout's defences but to show her not everyone will leave. Both have Fathers whose expectations are high. Tensions also rise when the player who maliciously injured Easton comes back on the scene - and someone is manoeuvring his pawns for a yet to be revealed underhanded reason.

K. Bromberg beautifully balances loveable characters and a riveting romance which included some humor, sex, emotional angst, drama and passion in this compelling listen that was told from both POV's. Great narration combo by Andi and Joe expertly and skilfully brought the book to life.

Worth a credit? Yes.. and I've loved all of her books so she'll continue to be an auto author for me but it's a shame it's not one complete book.

Hate cliffhangers!!!!!

Quit trying to sell more books by having a simple story end in a cliffhanger. The material within this book is sufficient for one book. I was already getting bored with it...and then a cliffhanger! So disappointing.

Really?

This book ended practically mid-thought. I had to go back to ensure I hadn't missed something critical.

5 The Player Stars

Ahh I do love a K. Bromberg book. But I gotta say… A cliffy really.. .I hateeee cliffys’, I always wait for the next book to come out before I read a book with a cliff-hanger it’s just how I am..

Thought I can’t be mad, this was a great book.

Easton isn’t just a jock trying to get his rocks off. It actually had some depth and I liked getting to know him.
You see his heart when he wants you to see it. If he doesn’t then you get The Player.

Scout, Oh Scout. This girl has a lot on her shoulders and she can’t talk about it or she wouldn’t. You really want to help her out but how. She has a lot to work through. I kinda love the relationship Easton and she have from the very beginning.

It was friends with that underlying heat. I loved that. I loved how it was constant through the whole book.

It’s a fantastic story and even though I whinned about the cliffy. Still glad I read it!

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

Great book but cliffhanger

I love K Bromberg books and this one is no exception. It has some laughs, some steamy scenes and romance but be warned this is a cliffhanger and the next books isn't out for several months. Can't wait to see what happens next!

I HATE CLIFFHANGERS

I would have given this book 5 stars until it ended in a cliffhanger. I loved the characters, the story, the tension, everything but the ending or lack of one killed it for me. I should have scrolled down and read reviews before I bought it but I loved the plot idea so much I just bought it. Now I have to wait............

F@#kkkkkk

A great story with a tension you never want to release but the most WTF moment is the final one! Way to mess with the reader!

Now I'm dying for more!!!!!

Fun Fun Fun!!

Love Love Love this story!! It was fun, there was great witty banter, fun characters and some hot scenes. Joe and Andi are two of my favorites and do not disappoint AT ALL. I did not want this story to end. I enjoyed it so much.
