I think the strongest points of this series are that:

1. there is more than one murder case at the time and not everything gets solved

2. there is a lot about the main character's family and entourage. Not a lot about him, because he is a very private (I would even say secretive) man.

3. When I get to the end of one book I have something to look for in the next.
