What a Mess!
I was just a kid when the OJ Simpson trial happened,. but I do remember how important and just EVERYWHERE it was for that year.
What an absolute disaster of a defense. I'm not so naive as to believe other factors don't play in the decisions of major cases like these (even if it should be the simple matter of guilty or not guilty), but OJ Simpson was really the worst "symbol/martyr of Black America" that could have been chosen. And I think has proven that today. He's did nothing worthwhile with his freedom and he certainly didn't support the community that looked up to him.
What a waste of everyone's faith and time.
