A general guide to IF, but seems outdated.

The book provides general nutritional guidelines that have been repeated for the last 50 years.

I would have appreciated seeing the scientific evidence first prior to dietary guidelines being provided in the first chapter. The audio version does not appear to have any links to the cited research.

I could be wrong, but I believe the author's stance on cholesterol and saturated fat, and their relation to heart disease, is a bit out of date. Also the author's promotion of the ketogenic diet, and his descenting views of saturated fat and cholesterol, are at odds with each other, as many ketogenic diets have you consuming large quantities of saturated fats and cholesterol.

Overall I am curious about intermittent fasting, and this book has encouraged me to experiment with some variations.

Helped me to make better choices.

Not only am I losing weight but I now understanding how insulin affects my body. I’m not diabetic but this audiobook has changed the way I look at food and has helped me to make better choices.

It will blow your mind.

If you don’t believe that there is anything that can been done about diabetes, then you need to listen to this book – it will blow your mind.

I’ve converted lots of my friends.

It’s no secret that I love food and yet I’ve lost 22 pounds so far through intermittent fasting. People cannot believe the difference when they see me. I’ve converted lots of my friends to fasting and they have also had amazing results. Several of my friends have tried it with similar results.

Life changing.
