Great companion to the series!

If you love the show, you'll enjoy hearing Detective Murdoch's secret diaries. I, especially, like the addition of audio clips from the television episode that relate to the particular entry.

Good stories, some better than others

Great narration. We Two, My Father's Son and Two Ways of Knowing are my favorites. These explore the tension of human heart.

What Have You George?

I am a fan of The Murdoch Mysteries, both the show and the Books. This little series is a wonderful side piece of the show, mixing clips from the specific episode to Yannik's narration of Murdoch's personal thoughts is just marvelous. I hope there is more!

Basically the show, with a look behind the curtain

The series was good if you have seen the show, it basically covers some of the highest rated episodes (IMO) and what Murdoch was experiencing at the time. The show does a good job of this anyways and the audio series only adds a few more ideas and thoughts.

As Good As The Series

With my job, I cannot be hone to watch TV but listen to alot if books. This combined one if my favourite series with the audible sensation. It was a brilliant look on how Murdoch's character was thinking in private over some of the most memorable cases.

Too short for me.

While I understand the nature of the ‘five minute world’, I find these stories to be totally dissatisfying . There is little space for appropriate character development not to mention one plot running on another, adding suspense . Go to these if you wish but I won’t.
