Story
Stella Grant likes to be in control - even though her totally out-of-control lungs have sent her in and out of the hospital most of her life. At this point, what Stella needs to control most is keeping herself away from anyone or anything that might pass along an infection and jeopardize the possibility of a lung transplant. Six feet apart. No exceptions. The only thing Will Newman wants to be in control of is getting out of this hospital. He couldn’t care less about his treatments or a fancy new clinical drug trial. Will’s exactly what Stella needs to stay away from.

Story
Clementine forms a plan to keep her heart safe: work hard, find someone decent to love, and try to remember to chase the moon. The last one is silly and obviously metaphorical, but her aunt always told her that you needed at least one big dream to keep going. And for the last year, that plan has gone off without a hitch. Mostly. The love part is hard because she doesn’t want to get too close to anyone—she isn’t sure her heart can take it. And then she finds a strange man standing in the kitchen of her late aunt’s apartment.

Publisher's Summary
The number one New York Times best seller and National Book Award Finalist from the best-selling author of Everything Everything will have you falling in love with Natasha and Daniel as they fall in love with each other.
Natasha: I’m a girl who believes in science and facts. Not fate. Not destiny. Or dreams that will never come true. I’m definitely not the kind of girl who meets a cute boy on a crowded New York City street and falls in love with him. Not when my family is 12 hours away from being deported to Jamaica. Falling in love with him won’t be my story.
Daniel: I’ve always been the good son, the good student, living up to my parents’ high expectations. Never the poet. Or the dreamer. But when I see her, I forget about all that. Something about Natasha makes me think that fate has something much more extraordinary in store - for both of us.
The Universe: Every moment in our lives has brought us to this single moment. A million futures lie before us. Which one will come true?
What the critics say
"Beautifully crafted." (People Magazine)
"A book that is very much about the many factors that affect falling in love, as much as it is about the very act itself...fans of Yoon’s first novel, Everything Everything, will find much to love - if not, more - in what is easily an even stronger follow up." (Entertainment Weekly)
"Transcends the limits of YA as a human story about falling in love and seeking out our futures." (POPSUGAR)
Featured Article: The Best Young Adult Audiobooks For Women Of All Ages
Many people equate "growing up" with "growing serious." But while interests may change over time, age does not have to be the deciding factor in what games you play, movies, or books you enjoy. Young adult novels are the perfect example of this. Though written with a teenage audience in mind, women of all ages are sure to enjoy the genre’s hallmarks: strong yet flawed characters, heartbreaking twists and turns, romance, and drama.

A Story of Poetry and Science
The Sun is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon is a fun adventure that sees two young people in New York City fall in love over a very enthralling, very busy day. While I cheer for the books diversity and race issues tackled in the book, I found it a little hard to believe the amount of autonomy these two teenagers were given under the book's circumstances. I did, however, love how all the threads of the story tied together and worked both for and against one another. And the intensity in which these characters exist bring a smile to my face that makes me reminisce about how deeply I felt about things when I was seventeen.

Wow, I’m in Tears...
What a wonderful, wonderful listen. The narrators are simply outstanding and several times I caught tears rolling down my cheeks - which should be ridiculous as I’m a fully-grown man and not a teenager. A fantastic story encapsulating all the issues facing modern society: immigration, race, belonging, life choices, science vs. faith. It’s just beautiful. Highly recommended to anyone who is sentimental that wants to enjoy a good cry.

Very talented narrators
There are a few books that I just know I would not enjoy quite as much if I had read them myself and this was definitely one of them. I enjoyed listening to the narration immensely; it made the book for me. I had a hard copy in my home but I found excuses to get into the car, (which is the only time I allow myself to listen to audiobooks) just so I could listen to the story. A very sweet story about first fleeting love and second chances.

I loved everything about it!
I loved the characters (they were well developed), the plot line, the small twists and the overall mood of the book. Not all love stories go in the direction you hope they will.
