Excellent
Throughly enjoyed this audio book after having watched the TV series The Handmaids Tale. The use of different voices for different characters made this truly great to listen to.

Excellent audiobook!
This book was phenomenal. I think I even enjoyed it more than Handmaids tale. The narration was extremely well done, and I never wanted to stop listening to it! After reading this I've fallen down an Atwood rabbit hole, and I'm not sad about it!

Far too close to reality than fiction.
Margaret Atwood has created an amazing follow up to The Handmaid’s Tale. This was a very compelling story from beginning to end. I do highly recommend reading The Handmaid’s Tale before The Testaments if you are not yet familiar with it.

Much needed answer after the handsmaids tale
Incredible story Margaret Atwood is a genius writer. I couldn’t stop listening. Amazing story and great insights into one of the harshest characters I have ever read Aunt Lydia.

Margaret Atwood's book - yes. Her voice? No.
Good grief, who thought it would be a good idea to have Margaret Atwood narrate any part of her book? That woman has a profoundly irritating speaking voice and she really should not be allowed near a microphone, not even to introduce each chapter. The other performances were excellent, fortunately.

A Great, Necessary Sequel to The Handmaid's Tale
Once again, Margaret Atwood has taken the art of putting pen to paper and thrust us into a universe so surreal that we can't stop reading, yet, so jarringly similar to our present, that it gives us cautionary pause.
The story is so well done. Taking the reader deep into the formation of Gilead and giving colour and texture to both familiar and new characters, helping us understand what motivates them and reminding us of the complex fragility that is the human experience. Within a totalitarian, oppressive regime we see that fragility amplified. I only wish the ending was fleshed out further and that we heard more from Offred, but this in no way takes away from the excellence that is this novel.
The audio performances were fantastic and really draw the reader in to a full experience of this dystopia created by Atwood.
If you loved The Handmaid's Tale, this is necessary reading.
