Fight, survive, adapt, and rely only on yourself. That is Derek’s creed and what's got him through the System Integration on Earth. Everything changed when the System came. Cute bunnies and beautiful butterflies became savage killing machines. Then the Invaders arrived with a single goal: to obtain ownership of this new habitable planet. War has raged ever since. None of this mattered much to Derek, aside from making living a little more perilous.

Good book but a middle book
If you are following the "a ten realms tale" this is great book continuing the wonderful world building. But this lacks solid ending would recommend listening with the next book is out. Provided a lot of info and overall is a good book. would diffidently recommend to keep following the work of this author.

new narrator to the series
well I was initially disappointed by the change of narrator, for all the characters have a new voice. so it made this book hard to get into. BUT once I got familiar with them the rest of the book was fantastic. loved it

good but I miss the adventure
Great performance by narrator. The characters are well done and there's a fair amount of time spent on side characters. My main issue is with the shift from fantasy adventure to military fantasy. Still an enjoyable book will check out the next.

Amazing
Great as always, I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
I wish the book was more focused on Eric and his crew, but I understand the need for story development. Keep up the good work!

A lul in the tale
Perhaps it was my mind. Perhaps it was the book. I didn't find this one as engaging as the previous two. Hopefully book 4 makes up for it! Plot was ok but character development didn't pan out as I feel it should in a lot rpg.
