Excellent Book
I thought I was in for a basic hack and slash type book with expendable characters who I didn’t really care about. I was so wrong! The frame work of the story gets into the action pretty quick, but then changes to provide the motivations of the characters. Just when I thought I knew where it was predictably going the author throws in a surprising turn of events. The conclusion, while tragic, is very satisfying. I really enjoyed this book and appreciated a bit of romance amongst the gore. It was exciting with well developed characters. My only critique is I wish there were a few more female characters. We are past the point of only men can be soldiers and women are delicate flowers to defend. You can write about kickass women soldiers too. However, overall it was a great story with lots of action involving interesting characters who I grew to care about. Worth the credit.

main character, who?
this this is the book I will recommend to anyone who complains about blood armor in fantasy. the first part of the book was the most hype and fast-paced action ever allowed it it kind of slowed in the middle of that that wasn't great but then it picked back up by the end in the third part and that was amazing

Spoiler alert: this book is excellent.
I liked the Mountain Man and Breeds series’ very much, but The Troll Hunter is far and away one of the best stories I’ve heard, the narrator is very, very good.
Wow sums it all up I think, just wow.
