Publisher's Summary

From the Instagram sensation and internationally best-selling author of The Dark Between Stars and Love Her Wild comes another romantic and deeply moving collection.

The Truth About Magic builds on the pains and joys of romance explored in Love Her Wild and the New York Times best seller, The Dark Between Stars - heartbreaks and falling in love, looking back and looking inwards - by taking a fresh, awakened journey outward. An adventure into the great unknown. It’s about finding ourselves, our purpose, and the simple joys of life. It’s about lavender fields, drinking white wine out of oak barrels on vineyards, laughing until you cry, dancing in old barns until the sun comes up, and making love on sandy beaches.

The Truth About Magic is a vibrant, transcendent journey into growth, which will leave you energized and eager to explore the wider world.

A wonderful listen

The only thing better than reading Atticus’ poetry...is listening to Atticus. His voice and cadence are perfect. Like wrapping oneself in a blanket of “all is right with the world”

Simply magic

The title says it all.
I think this is the first time an audiobook has opened my heart center, even if just momentarily.
Beautiful & powerful punchline after beautiful & powerful punchline really got the tears of love & beauty flowing.
Thank you for sharing this with the world, fellow poet🙏🏼

Love Her Wild is still my favorite

I listened to all three of his books, love her wild, the dark between the stars, and the truth about magic. love her wild is still my favorite of the three. If I had to choose which one to buy a hard copy of it would be love her wild. I like this and the dark between the stars but not as much as love her wild.

10/10

Beautiful written. The authors subtle jokes and hints, playful and sweet. I could (and most likely will) listen to this again.

Atticus's work is a gift to the soul.

I loved this book so much. I have been a fan of Atticus for a few years, his words touch my heart and especially my soul. Hearing his warm and soothing voice, read his beautiful poems with the cadences meant for them, was such a fantastic experience that I was actually sad when it was over. You absolutely will not regret purchasing The Truth About Magic.

good, just too short.

It's good, it's just not enough. Is it ever? thankfully all the others are longer, I'd start there.

Poetry

poetry is the slice and spice of life. it feels like intimate thoughts and feelings of the author. Atticus as that special intimacy in the way that he reads poetry he wrote.
