Under Tree (Book 7 1/2), Confession (book 10 1/2)

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, I recommend this series, plus Grace Valley and Thunder Point (all related stories)

What was one of the most memorable moments of Tis the Season?

Under the Cristmas Tree (book 7 1/2) is continued in book 8: Forbidden Falls where you here the store of the pups mother. And in book 11: Promise Canyon, more about the Vet.
Midnight Confessions (book 10 1/2) the story starts with the Foley Family in book 4, A Virgin River Christmas, continues in book 10 Moonlight Road, and ends with the brother's story in Midnight Confessions.

What about Therese Plummer’s performance did you like?

The narration was great. Perfect. She brings all the characters to life and makes them feel like real people.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I love it when all of the family members are accounted for. Its like all the questions are answered (you know "what happened to so n' so"). that's just a over all good feeling.

Any additional comments?

I hope Robyn Carr adds more books to the "Virgin River" series.

2 short Virgin River stories

I was hoping to get more about the Virgin River families, but this is 2 short stories with new characters. Since these are short stories, there is not a lot of character development. For Virgin River fans, however, it is a fur return to Jack's Bar for Yew Years Eve.

I want more.

The stories are sweet but they leave you wanting more. I want to know what happens with sunny and the doctor.

Sweet novellas, perfect performance

Audiobook: Narrator - Therese Plummer
As always an excellent job. I’d listen to her read the phone book!

These were both cute, sweet and fun with just a touch of angst. I definitely liked Under the Christmas Tree more since it felt more rounded and well developed. But both are great listens for the holidays.

Tooo sing songy

I didn’t like this one. The story was okay but the narrator has this up and down way that she lists things that kept distracting me. Sorry. I really like this team but Therese please stop that!

Nice holiday shorts

Under the Christmas Tree - 4 stars
Flirty and funny with the entire Virgin River community taking care of abandoned puppies in Jack’s bar.

Midnight Confessions- 3 stars
Lots of dialogues between the protagonists. Bit boring with all the flashbacks of past relationships.

Superb story and performance

Both stories what interesting storylines and continuity. The performance by Plummer was excellent; she distinguished characters easily and with consistency from story to story .

Heart Warming

I always enjoy Robyn Carr's books. These were sweet and heart warming. Too bad they weren't longer.

Loved Them

I loved both novellas. The only complaint I have is that the second ended to early. Left me wanting to know more.
