About this listen

Power has a price.

Tim wants to find a place in his new world. He wants friends, but bringing them along puts them in harm’s way.

He will have to learn to control his ever changing classes to gain the power he needs. But learning about who he truly faces makes it clear the deck is stacked against him. He must ask what he is willing to pay for the power to face it.

But some evils just have to be killed at any price.

Will he be able to live with the price once it has been paid?

Book 2 in the next LitRPG saga from the Amazon Bestselling author of Life in Exile, Sean Oswald. It’s perfect for fans of Dakota Krout, Luke Chmilenko, and Troy Osgood.

Love how this character reminds me of the sleeper character (Kroyd Krenson) in the wildcard series with a litrpg spin, can’t wait to see where this story goes

Another epic adventure

The setting and mechanics are strong. The changing class gimmick is very creative. However the series (so far) has been let down by the protaganist. The MC is supposed to be around 30, but he constantly comes across as an attention starved teenager.

The MC is cringe

If you like the first book, you'll enjoy this one. I binged all three books together, and I really enjoyed everything about them except the LitRPG elements, which I found distracting and a little over the top. The performance was fantastic.

True sequel to the first book

I initially planned on no-lifing my way through the "Plus Catalogue" for the next 2 months or so. But who could have guessed that I would have no choice but to actually spend more money on this book? 😱.
I said it in my last review on the previous volume. But I have to say it again. The combination of entertaining, intriguing, and engaging creative writing along with the performance of Wisniewski on this project is simply beyond beautiful! Some people, I realise don't like the narrator, for whatever reason. But I think he is one of the best I've listened to. Paired with such a masterfully dark creation, his performance is just pulls you in. His deep voice when narrating and POV switches are quite engaging, and well done. Sometimes I even have to wonder if the characters were being narrated by different people. A job well done man 👍.
The next release date says May 23, 3023 😢. Why does it feel so far away all of a sudden?
Just hurry up and publish!
