Publisher's Summary

The former assistant to the president and director of communications for the Office of Public Liaison in the Trump White House provides a jaw-dropping look into the corruption and controversy of the current administration.

Few have been a member of Donald Trump’s inner orbit longer than Omarosa Manigault Newman. Their relationship has spanned 15 years - through four television shows, a presidential campaign, and a year by his side in the most chaotic, outrageous White House in history. But that relationship has come to a decisive and definitive end, and Omarosa is finally ready to share her side of the story in this explosive, jaw-dropping account.

A stunning tell-all and takedown from a strong, intelligent woman who took every name and number, Unhinged is a must-listen for any concerned citizen.

I enjoyed this more than I thought I would

I am one of those curious people who not only can't fathom how Trump's brain works, but am still flabbergasted that he got into office. I though Omarosa's book might give me some insight, and it did.
I casually watched the first season of The Apprentice, so I thought her story would provide an interesting lens. And it did.
It makes me a bit sad to think that she really thought they were friends, as he seems incapable of truly caring about another person, but their time in the White House let me behind the veil. It was as frightening as expected.
I found Omarosa hard to relate to - her allegiance to Trump, ministry and experiences as an African-American woman are far removed from me - but I respect the good she was trying to do.
I can't say I loved the book, but it was ok. I enjoyed her narrating her own book.

Honest

It’s everything I hoped it would be. An insiders view on the goings-on in the Trump mind in the White House. Omarosa speaks from the heart about a man she called a friend. She holds no hatred in her heart for those who’ve wronged her, but only speaks the truth. The Bible says “.. the truth will set you free.” It takes time for each person connected to Trump, but one by one each person will fall away. Trump has Dementia, though the word was not used in the book, when a family member has it you know what it looks like. Our Canadian System has checks and balances which prevent this type of thing affecting judgement in our Leaders in government. Our entire country continues to function smoothly, and seamlessly even when the leading party is defeated overnight. I always thought you Americans had the best system of government, but now we see its flaws, when the Wonderful and Respected Obama White House turns its keys over to an idiot like DJT.....be afraid good people....be very afraid!

Its good but...

Omarosa as a narrator is a bit much. She is not good at being a story teller in my opinion

Kept my interest from beginning to end!

I loved the way Omarosa writes, everything she wrote was confirmed by newspapers and Tv, she put it all in perspective.
She has a very peaceful voice while reading the book. I bet it was not easy the write about this sad theme.
Thank you!

Great narration and story

Really enjoyed listening to Omarosa tell her personal story and her side of the Trump cult phenomenon.

It's alright

I liked learning about Omarosa as a person. I had no idea how accomplished she was, both professionally and academically.

For me two things took awful from the book: her Trump impression, and the fact that a good portion of the content consisted of simply repeating what had already been made public in the media. This was the perfect forum to make public whatever she chose, but I found very little to be new information.

That said, I don't regret the purchase and I hope she goes on to do great things.

Exceptional @

Loved the story line and narrator. A very non biased, non judgemental review of the writer's experience and very objective .

Omarosa has been discounted far too much!

I ordered this with a bit of skepticism as the news media really questioned her credibility. Never the less I ordered the book and listen to the story. The book is laid out well, story line is straight forward and I like the fact that the book does not lean only in one direction. She fills in the gaps that have always been here up to this point. She takes ownership of making mistakes and has a pretty fair view of the man in office. I must admit that I am not sleeping as well now but the truth is the truth. We always thought that the information the white house had was top shelf so why the weir tweets early in the morning? You find out and you appreciate the work and effort the staff go to in order to keep the ship on an someone even keel. #Audible1

Nothing new

Omarosa has recycled the news which dominated our tv screens since the inauguration of Trump. The story is told like a ...sport event. Fastidious reading.

oh my, the USA is in deep trouble

Too bad Omarosa was not able to stay till today in the white house.
It would have been a benefit to the people to have a longer journal as to how this government in power conducts themselves.
Perhaps someone else will update us in the inside workings of this corrupt government that Omarosa couldn't do herself.
