Refreshing

I love Aurora Rose Reynolds books. Being familiar with her writing style... I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop. It was refreshing to have drama but nothing so earth-shattering that it took away from the Romance. It was a good old-fashioned love story. I love how protective Trevor was in every aspect but a big teddy bear towards his lady.

Good

This was a good book however chemistry between the two main characters was not as electric for me as the first book. Also the conflict was not as suspenseful.

Gorgeous Brothers finding the right women

This series is relatively interesting. I've enjoyed the small town vibe and regular folk involved. Of course there are some of the inevitable clichés, but there is enough new that I find it pleasant entertainment.

Another stupid guy, what’s new?

This book really started off by ticking me off. At first, the Hero rejects the Heroine and although he says and acts like he doesn’t want her, he also doesn’t wanting anyone else to have her, either. In the meantime, he’s still hooking up with one night stands. WTF? That’s the kind of guy that needs his nuts planted deep into his body cavity. Unfortunately, the Heroine forgives him much quicker than I would have. I would have made him suffer much longer. However, her Mother and the Hero’s family are doing all they can to get them together. In addition, the Heroine has some serious drama, in her family life that affects her business and her personal finances, and guess who becomes a shoulder to cry on? Yes, Trevor, the Hero.

This is a sweet love story with a bit of heat and not a lot of angst, so in this regard, it is a relaxing, entertaining listen. The icing on the cake, is that it is included in the Escape Package, so You get to choose another book, with your credit.

I read approximately 3 books a week. This book had no story line and horrible narration. I could not finish.

problematic

Came back and relistened to this after 5 or so years and I can't believe how problematic and insane this book is. A man that controls every move a woman makes and even though she hates it she relents every time? Not to mention the several times he uses his physical strength to restrain her! This book is not a romance novel.

This book sucks!!!

Good narration. The only good thing. What is wrong with this woman. She’s is so childish and annoying. And he is an overbearing controlling ass. They have the maturity of teenagers. I couldn’t finish the book. About the time she was repeating his words back to him like you’d do to annoy your brother I had to end the book. What a waste of 4 hours. I just couldn’t listen anymore. So disappointing and frustrating.
