I kinda liked this book but then I kinda didn’t like it at the same time. It’s got information dumps everywhere without actually spilling anything. Kinda predictable in spots which was annoying because it wasn’t “slightly” predictable but it was “you saw it coming a mile away” kinda predictable.
The last hour or so of listening kind of bugged me but I couldn’t put my finger on why it bugged me.
I’ll be reading the next book but not right now, I’ll get to it eventually. It wasn’t a “I must know what happens next” kind of book, so I’ll let it simmer before using a credit on the next book.

I'm usually okay with cliffhangers as long as something was resolved. Nothing was resolved. By the end of the book I disliked most of the main characters. I won't be listening to the rest of the series
