In my 61 years on this earth, I have absorbed a lot of news. As I got older, I began to hate mainstream media and the 24 hour news cycle. Since I discovered Bill Maher, I have never missed an episode of Real Time. Bill doesn't pull punches and sheads light on things you will not see on TV news. Do I always agree with what he says, No, but I always learn something about the issues he speaks of. Loved these editorials when I saw them on his show and I loved listening to them all packaged together.

Great collection of Bill Maher’s “New Rules” segment from his show. Amazing comedic commentary on American society, but if you’re a fan of his show, you might find it a bit repetitive, as there’s nothing new here. Just all his best material from recent years gathered into one collection.

An enjoyable summer read/listen. A great way to manage these times of social upheaval in the American Tale. The climatic final editorial in Real Time New Rule conclusion is most often for me the program’s high point.

Highly recommended. Although a few of his points are made while wearing DNC colored glasses, notably on his feelings towards Reagan's economic policies (which were hugely successful in almost every measure) and selling Arms to Iran, who were in fact allies at the time, (which he conveniently forgot to mention) he sums up politics, the state of the country, and society pretty much perfectly. This should be mandatory reading for all millennials!
