We sat down with author, researcher, and musician Matthew Clark to discuss his new book “Botanical Ecstasies” and what Soma might have been in the ancient world. We will go throw all the possible combinations and concoctions of what the ancients from India and Iran described in the Rigveda and Avesta as Soma/Homa. In part 2 we will focus on Matthew's theory on why an ayahuasca analog was Soma/Homa. The goal of this series is to put out all credible data, texts, translations, and research so you the viewers and listeners can decide what you think Soma was.
